This Privacy Policy applies to The Halloween website at the-halloween.com and the features operated directly on it. It does not replace the privacy policies of embedded game providers, advertising services, or external websites.

The site does not require a visitor account. If you email us, we receive the address, message, attachments, and other information you choose to send.
If you submit a game-page comment, we receive the display name and comment text you enter. The comment form does not ask for an email address.

For comment abuse prevention, the server combines the request IP address and user-agent string into a keyed one-way fingerprint. It also records submission time, rate-limit results, moderation status, and security-check outcomes. The raw IP address and user-agent are not included in the public comment response.
Local Storage and Favorites
When functional storage is allowed, favorite game IDs are saved in local storage on your device. The site's versioned consent decision is also stored locally so your Cookie Settings can be remembered.
These browser records remain on your device until you change your choice, clear site data, or your browser removes them. Rejecting or withdrawing functional storage clears the favorites record controlled by this site.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking essential storage may prevent preferences or favorites from working. Turning off personalized ads does not necessarily remove advertising; ads may instead use contextual signals such as the current page or general location.
Embedded Games and External Links
Game pages can load content from a separate provider inside an iframe. The provider receives the technical information needed to deliver that content and may apply its own privacy, advertising, and age rules. The Halloween does not control data collected directly by an embedded game or an external website.

A published comment displays the chosen name, comment text, assigned avatar, and posting date publicly on the related game page. Do not include an email address, real-world address, account credential, or other private information in a comment.

A comment may be published, held for review, rejected, or removed. An avatar is assigned from the site's public avatar collection; it is not proof of a commenter's identity.
